Resumen

ARES, Paloma Antón. Adaptações tecnológicas para alunos com necessidades educativas especiais. Linhas Críticas [online]. 2011, vol.17, n.33, pp.237-249. ISSN 1981-0431.

Technological innovations facilitate communication by connecting people across the planet. This offers possibilities that lead us to the adoption of new collaboration parameters in teaching, research, and social interaction environments. In connection with this, one must heed the fact that technology can become a pedagogical tool for training and integration. However, at the same time it runs the risk of becoming an exclusion factor for an important group: people who, for various reasons, have different needs in using them. To prevent this from happening, an accessible design must be defended, and efforts must be joined in order to inform, educate and investigate, so that resources may be put into use that allow and encourage the use of information and communication technologies by people with special needs or differentiated capacities.

Palabras clave : Different Capabilities; Technological Adaptations; Legislation and Socioeducational Inclusion; Accessible Technologies.
