Abstract

MIRANDA, Ana. Youth transitions, social generations and social inclusion processes in Argentina post-neoliberal. Linhas Críticas [online]. 2016, vol.22, n.47, pp.130-149. ISSN 1981-0431.  https://doi.org/10.2015/lcv22n47.130.

Examining the results of a research about transition processes from education to labor market in two different historical contexts (Argentina, 1999 and 2011), this article aims to contribute to the debate on inequality and youth life conditions. The findings resulted from the construction of panels, accompanying trajectories of young people after high school. We present a typology in order to discuss the idea of a typical or normal way to organize life course. Also, we expose some testimonies of young individuals that show us how vulnerable situations can be reversible when there is a general context that enhances social inclusion.

Keywords : Youth; School-Work Transition; Vulnerabilities. Post-Neoliberalism.
