This paper presents the results of a follow-up study of a group of six patients suffering from multiple sclerosis during an expert patient training in France and shows the effects of using life history as a tool to explore patients' personal and interpersonal experiences. The methodology of the work was based on the biographical research approach. The results show that the participants were able to explore their experiences and find a space for the release of feelings through the narrative, contributing to the formation of expert patient and allowing patients to explore and value the experiences and acquired knowledge.
