In this article we analyze the textual surfaces of the Teacher Training Plans of Argentina in the period 2007-2019, trying to recognize the significantes maestros that set the senses of the teaching policies. The Plans, from a political-centered perspective of inquiry, along the lines of Discourse Theory and Political Discourse Analysis, constitute practices that articulate discursive configurations of teacher training. In them, we recognize fixations of meaning that, on the one hand, seek to rebuild an identity for the formative system and, on the other, organize the discursive field around the signifier of professional capacities.
