Abstract

CAPUCHO, Pablo Henrique Paschoal  and  BORIM-DE-SOUZA, Rafael. The microemancipation through higher education in management: a critical reflection. Linhas Críticas [online]. 2020, vol.26, e29804.  Epub Sep 18, 2020. ISSN 1981-0431.  https://doi.org/10.26512/lc.v26.2020.29804.

Management Education is technocratic and complicit in capitalist impositions that alienate individuals according to market designs. The avoidance of a humanist, reflective and critical formation undermines the constitution of an understanding in relation to a reality that is socially constructed from a capacity for silenced agency. The objective of this theoretical study is to approach knowledge as a means of microemancipation in the face of the forms of alienation that permeate society and the training of administrators. It is proposed that the concept of microemancipation, through critical reason, illuminates the manager's awareness of the consequences of his socioeconomic interventions.
