Abstract

Mediumship is a convergent attitude in Umbanda’s educational process, which mediates mutual care and traditional knowledge in Parana State-Brazil. Moreover, by uttering Anthropology of Education and Social and Community Psychology, it conveyed to reveal ancestry as a long-term learning and a silent education. As a result, the actions of medicine men and women through the local history of vulnerability were embodied into Umbanda’s temples through entities’s actions, readjusting matricentric expression of mutual care to consultant’s afflictions.
