The article discusses the importance of extension in university education through the brief presentation of actions in school psychology developed by an extension group of a Psychology course at a public University. The text highlights the importance of these practices in university education based on national laws, decrees and resolutions, presents the context in which they were developed and then discusses the importance of extension in the training of the psychologist. Extension as a space for professional training, the role of the University in the construction of interventions in reality in a critical and dialogical way and the place of supervision as creative and fertile spaces characterize the discussions.
