DHARLLE OLIVEIRA SANTANA, Martin; MACHADO SILVA, Ana Paula; CARVALHO DE ARAUJO, Bárbara  y  KELBER ABRAO FERREIRA, Ruhena. Leisure knowledge and practices: a work and health perspective. Linhas Críticas [online]. 2021, vol.27, e35146.  Epub 06-Abr-2021. ISSN 1981-0431.  https://doi.org/10.26512/lc.v27.2021.35146.

Leisure should be part of the daily life of the population, as guaranteed by the Federal Constitution (Brazil, 1988), however, not everyone has access. It is a qualitative research with a focus group approach with eight participating professors. The main findings were that leisure time experiences should not be related to work, as leisure is the distance from obligations, it is physical and mental rest. Main experiences in leisure time are: bathing, traveling, watching movies, reading, physical exercise and listening to music. Leisure is fundamental to the teacher's health, as reports of illness are increasing in this population.

Palabras clave : Leisure and knowledge; Professor's health; Leisure time.
