Abstract

The research aims to analyze the impact of the conservatism of the Unpolitical School Movement (MESP) in addressing gender and sexuality issues within the curriculum policy of Brazilian basic education. Anchored in documental analysis, it discusses the historical and educational conjuncture and the shaping of the movement's ideologies in educational policies, especially in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The history of the program, the fight against gender issues in a conservative posture and its relationship with the approval of the BNCC are pointed out.
