This article aims to present research results on voluntary teaching practice in high school in the context of the Pandemic in the city of Vitória da Conquista, Bahia. A semi-structured questionnaire was used with eleven professionals and also a Content Analysis. The results pointed to inequality regarding the access and the way to deal with technologies. Continuing education was highlighted as necessary for teaching performance, in adverse conditions, in either remote or presential teaching modalities. Finally, the face-to-face classroom reaffirms itself as a fundamental interaction space in the relationship among students, teachers and family.
