Abstract

PILLOTTO, Silvia Sell Duarte; CUNHA, Luiza Corrêa; STAMM, Eliana  and  GARCIA, Berenice Rocha Zabbot. Storytelling and childhood: narratives (re)invent themselves. Linhas Críticas [online]. 2021, vol.27, e39147.  Epub Dec 16, 2021. ISSN 1981-0431.  https://doi.org/10.26512/lc27202139147.

This article is the result of a scientific research and aims to analyse children’s narratives, guided by a storytelling workshop, in order to understand it not only as a pedagogical resource, but also as a user of creative, imagery and authorship processes. The research took place in a school, linked to a community university, with 12 children from kindergarten (4 and 5 years old), during one semester, using narrative as a methodological approach. The processes/results showed that storytelling strengthened affective bonds, listening and the sense of authorship, evidencing the aesthetic experience as a mobilizer in cognitive and sensitive processes.

Keywords : Education; Storytelling; Creation.
