Abstract

DAVID, Franciele Maria  and  MARTINS, Suely Aparecida. As ocupações secundaristas em Francisco Beltrão-PR – 2016: fazer-se e experiências. Linhas Críticas [online]. 2021, vol.27, e36442.  Epub May 26, 2021. ISSN 1981-0431.  https://doi.org/10.26512/lc.v27.2021.36442.

In 2016, several students occupied more than 800 schools in the state of Paraná. This action was extended to universities and other states. This article reflects on this movement in Francisco Beltrão. From semi-structured interviews, reports published in the local newspaper, and bibliographic review, the formative experiences lived by high school students are analyzed, as well as their contribution to the political making of these young people. Based on the categories, experience, and Thompson's role, it is concluded that the occupations were important in the political work of the participants who, when competing for public education and the school space, placed themselves as subjects of their historical time.
