Abstract

The article resumes the discussion regarding the changes in the forms of youth participation in the current context of the still ongoing societal transformations in Brazil. In the light of the recent debate on the forms of engagement, militancy and activism, the text resumes the perception of young people from popular and middle classes, at different moments in their life paths (young-teenagers, young-young people, young adults) and with different experiences of participation, their actions in the public sphere, inside and outside the school context, to indicate some clues about/regarding the meanings of political action in contemporary times.
