This article aims to verify the contributions of the integrative review to qualitative research in Education. Therefore, theoretical discussions and the development of an integrative review sample will be outlined. The results obtained affirm that, when developing an integrative review, the researcher understands his research area in depth and can verify how the qualitative approach is expressed in the studies found. The sampling constructed revealed the care of the authors to reflect on the theme and the corpus analyzed in a complex and multidimensional way, an indispensable vision in research in the area of Education.
