BOEING, Flávia Tocci; MACHADO, Patrícia Fernandes Lootens  and  KLAUTAU-GUIMARAES, Maria de Nazaré. Science education and media: the diffusion of the twinning phenomenon in Cândido Godói. Linhas Críticas [online]. 2022, vol.28, e41527.  Epub June 01, 2022. ISSN 1981-0431.  https://doi.org/10.26512/lc28202241527.

The aim of this study was to investigate a mechanism for the interpretation of meanings for media texts on science and technology themes. For this, we rely on the Social Representation Theory in conjunction with Discursive Textual Analysis. The results point to a greater representativeness of the diffusion-type communicative modality. Five explanatory categories emerged for the twins’ phenomenon, the hypotheses are: the fertility water, Nazi, genes, divinity and environmental. The gene hypothesis being defined as themata and its subcategorizations as anchoring elements, mutation linked to P53, founder effect, consanguineous relationships, defined as anchoring element.
