Abstract

The text presents notes regarding the curricular policies in the literacy cycle, to kindergarten and elementary school, contextualized in the current curricular reforming. Those are the results of a bibliographical research in which questions are shown about the referrals for the implementation of the BNCC (Common National Curricular Base) document in the curriculum proposals of the municipal education systems, aiming to infer about the pedagogical practice and management of literacy, as well as the continuing education of literacy teachers. The results highlight some dilemmas and challenges for an effective political process of materializing a curriculum that considers the development of the literacy practice from continuing education of literacy teachers.
