OLIVEIRA, Adriana Lucinda de; JOUCOSKI, Emerson; PONTES, Thaís Pedrinho de  e  ALMEIDA, Vilma Alves de. The debate on affirmative policies of graduates UFPR Coastal Sector. J. Pol. Educ-s [online]. 2021, vol.15, e77637.  Epub 06-Set-2021. ISSN 1981-1969.  https://doi.org/10.5380/jpe.v14i0.77637.

This article addresses the issue of affirmative policies, having as subjects of the survey the egresses of the Coastal Sector, campus of the UFPR. The study was quali-quantitative and included the application of an online questionnaire to a universe of 1439 people who, between 2009 and 2019, completed their undergraduate studies, of whom 382 participated in the investigation. It was possible to notice that out of the total of respondents, 261 declared themselves white. On the other hand, 121 declared themselves yellow, black, brown, and indigenous. The survey allowed us to identify who are the subjects who access the University and their trajectories of study and work. It was noticed that, although there are policies of access and permanence in the public University, there is still a small share of black and indigenous people in these spaces and accessing such policies. The study also highlighted the urgency of affirmative policies within the University, as well as the constancy of differentiated difficulties of access, permanence, and professional insertion for those who have graduated with marks of race, ethnicity, and social class.
