This article aimed to propose a reflection on the processes that favor a democratic management and the current possibilities of participation of the families in everyday life of your children at early childhood education considering the existence of collegiate schools. It was considered as analysis methodology one critical quantitative approach, understanding that the informations of 28.453 public municipal schools that offered exclusively the early childhood education, result of the answers of yours managers to School Census of 2019 about of the existence of collegiate schools in the schools they are managers, it were help us to accomplish the propose, but it was analyzed by the specialize literature about the struggle by the right of the early childhood education and assumption of the democratic management in the public education, also the rewind of the national laws about the theme. The results show a few existences of the collegiate schools as starting point that it was had for the investigation to think about the possibilities of participation of the community in the decisions process of the school.
