The objetive of this article is to show a priority education policy implemented by Curitiba’s Municipal Education Department between the years 2014-2016, denominated Projeto Equidade na Educação, whose objetive was contribute to the guarantee of more equanimous trajectories in municipal schools (RME) considered vulnerables. For that study, reflexions about equity, inequality and scholastic justice present in works of authors like Crahay (2006, 2007, 2013), Dubet (2004), Érnica et al. (2011) are used. Methodologically, the option was firstly describe the constrution’s historic of that policy and its teoric framework, and after that discuss the project’s methodology, the main actions developed in schools and the main results reached in terms of educationals indicators in the city. The conclusion is that the PEE observed diferent contexts, recognized singularities and challenges between these municipal schools, revealing times and spaces of inequalities, but also of hope and social transformation.
