Abstract

BARTOCHAK, Ântony Vinícius; SANTOS, Everton Rodrigo  and  SANFELICE, Gustavo Roese. PIBID in the public policy path of initiation to teaching. J. Pol. Educ-s [online]. 2021, vol.15, e79205.  Epub Sep 27, 2021. ISSN 1981-1969.  https://doi.org/10.5380/jpe.v15i0.79205.

This study analyzes the trajectory of the public policy of PIBID in relation to the continuities and discontinuities of this program of initiation to teaching, starting, initially, from the general contexts of its elaboration and from execution characteristics. From this, the theoretical foundation of the research is constituted by the historical structure of the Brazilian State, from a controlled system “coming from the top to bottom”, co-opted, with little participation from society, but used quite effectively in electoral disputes to guarantee the continuation of those in power , influencing public policies, according to the immediate needs of the government. Therefore, bibliographic and documentary research was used as a methodology, with a qualitative approach, aimed at Public Notices between 2007 and 2020 on the CAPES platform. Analyzing the data, the main continuity occurred in the consolidation of the program as a State policy. However, the discontinuities were carried out with grants without adjustments, which were progressively reduced, and the insertion of students without a grant was encouraged. Therefore, the research problem aims to answer what was the trajectory of the public policy of PIBID in relation to the continuities and discontinuities of this program of initiation to teaching.
