CARVALHO, Elma Júlia Gonçalves de  and  PIRES, Daniela de Oliveira. Alignment between private social investment and business: a field of action of the private sphere in the educational offer. J. Pol. Educ-s [online]. 2021, vol.15, e82585.  Epub Dec 01, 2021. ISSN 1981-1969.  https://doi.org/10.5380/jpe.v15i0.82585.

In this article, considering the redefinition of the role of the State and the redimensioning of the relations between the public and the private since the 1990s, which is based on the displacement of a large part of the execution of the State's social policies to third party groups sector, for companies and for foundations and business institutes interested in providing social services in collaboration with the state apparatus, we will explore the alignment between private social investment in education and business. We recovered the Brazilian legislation that regulates partnerships and the debate fostered by companies and NGOs in order to highlight the encouragement of corporate social investment associating to business, revealing a new configuration and logic of aid actions. We will demonstrate, through the mapping of scientific productions on the subject, its impacts on public education and its consonance with the new logic of capital expansion.
