FAUSTINO, Mayara Cristina da Silva  y  FERNANDEZ, Silvina Julia. The Process of Re-Accreditation of a Government School and their Institutional Arrangements: an Analysis of PDI. J. Pol. Educ-s [online]. 2022, vol.16, e83639.  Epub 30-Mayo-2023. ISSN 1981-1969.  https://doi.org/10.5380/jpe.v16i0.83639.

The Federal Constitution provides that the Union, the states and the Federal District must maintain Schools of Government (EGs), responsible for training and improving public servants. Given the essentially pedagogical and formative nature of the EGs, their activities must be focused on the full development of the servers. Many EGs are linked to accrediting educational institutes, which involves a complex process to the fulfillment of the requirements by the requesting institution. In this context, we present the EG of the Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Roberto Bernardes Barroso Education Institute (IERBB/MPRJ). Thus, in this work, through a qualitative research, based on a case study, participant observation, bibliographical research and documental analysis, we seek to investigate what were the institutional arrangements undertaken by the IERBB/MPRJ, during its re-accreditation process, in 2019, with the State Council of Education of Rio de Janeiro. We found that, despite the difficulties faced, because of the lack of pedagogical knowledge, supplied through the partnership with the Pedagogy interns, and the lack of time to implement a more participatory planning, the IERBB/MPRJ was able to formulate its Institutional Development Plan and add specific knowledge during this process.
