Abstract

SILVEIRA, Éder da Silva; SILVA, Monica Ribeiro da  and  OLIVEIRA, Adriana Martins de. Recontextualization Processes: subsidies for a critical analysis of curriculum policies. J. Pol. Educ-s [online]. 2022, vol.16, e87821.  Epub May 30, 2023. ISSN 1981-1969.  https://doi.org/10.5380/jpe.v16i0.87821.

This article is based on reflections about the use of the concept of recontextualization developed by Basil Bernstein (1924-2000) to analyze the implementation processes of curriculum policies. We intend to present theoretical and methodological aspects that can serve as subsidies for research in this field. We seek to systematize the main structuring elements of the concept, giving special emphasis to the methodological procedures and the care required in the analysis process when using this approach.

Keywords : Recontextualization; Basil Bernstein; Educational Policies; Curriculum Policies.
