Announced in the beginnings of the eighteen hundreds by Marc Antoine Julien, the comparative education only achieved academic status in the XX century. The expansion of Comparative Education does not occur under the sign of uniformity of approaches. But if some saw in this situation a difficulty of scientific affirmation, we prefer to understand it as the possible response in the historical moment that discovered the incapacity of science of unique explanation to explain the complexity of the world. We tend to consider that a socio-dynamic approach to Comparative Education can include a synthesis of the anterior position and give meaning to the educational processes, explaining , specially the spatial relations, the interdependence with other sectors of society, the situation and implications of historical evolution, the possibilities and demands of technology, the dimension of consciousness and ideological mobilization, crossing data and methodologies with the objective, for example to localize conditioning or determinant aspects, centers and periphery, flow of relations or conflicts, homogeneities or heterogeneities, permanence or change, protagonisms or resistances in the attempt to know the explicit or implicit reasons for policy, the consistence of the wills, the achievement of the accomplished and the meaning of the not done.
