This article is about the partial results of the Mastership Dissertation carried out along with the Program of Post-graduation in Education at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). It is included in the research line of formation, knowledge and professional development. It aims to socialize the knowledge produced from the context of the research that authenticated the learning how to be a teacher in the superior level without any pedagogical formation based on his conceptions of formation and teaching. It has, as its methodological reference, a narrative qualitative research and the findings reveal that learning to be a professor occurs in the change of interpairs, with the students and through the pedagogic practice.
