This subject discusses the teaching in the teacher’s pedagogical formation of degree courses, the establishment of priorities for the teacher’s formation, the current and the role of the teaching on this formation nowadays. It results of a qualitative approach research with professors and coordinators who work on degree courses of five universities in Paraná. It shows that teaching has a tendency to prioritize specific aspects of teaching practice instead of her total dimension. It indicates an emphasis on the learning: “learn to learn” aimed on the student like an intelligent active subject, creative, productive and able to domain his learning procedures.
