The present article has its focus on the study of the concept of formation on an auto-biographical approach context. In the educational field we have noticed that, far beyond the contribution in the investigation processes, the specificity of the mentioned perspective is reputedly placed by its potential former. We aim, thus, throughout the text, to rouse reflections on formation senses, firstly detaching the concept through a review of the literature and, secondly, presenting possible articulations regarding experiential learning and identitarian processes which, in a recurrent way, have mutual relationship with formation in the mentioned literature.
