This paper analyzes the discourse ProJovem from its political-pedagogical project. Your goal is to develop youth involvement through education, orientation to the world of work and development of community action. From the standpoint of theoretical and methodological work that is located in the wake of recent social theory, developments in the category of social recognition, whose use is associated with postcritical theory, Charles Taylor, Nancy Fraser and Axel Honneth. This approach allows the configuration tool useful in understanding the discursive formation of public policy, particularly ProJovem, whose goal highlights on the one hand, symbolic recognition by emphasizing the role of youth and the equal participation of the community and on the other hand in recognition distributive, through education and work initiation.
