Abstract

We analyze how gender relations are established in play activities of a curriculum and its effects on subjectivity of boys and girls. The research was conducted in Sergipe municipality of school for three months in a group composed of children aged 5 years. The observed scenario, gender relations have their bases signed in heterosexuality. The school staff and the students carry with female conceptions and well defined male. There is also intense surveillance of the sexuality of children, seeking to encourage heterosexuality as the norm to be followed and at the same time, contain it. However, the analyzed curriculum not always managed to regulate the subjects where other possibilities could be built. The most significant was to show how the school curriculum exerts strong brands in the constitution of its subjects.
