This article discusses teacher working in the integrated technical courses in the education mode of adults and youths. Its objective is to analyze collected data through questionnaires with teachers of integrated technical courses in the Education Mode of Adults and Youths (EJA) of the Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG) about who they are and how they develop its pedagogical practice. The analysis is fulfilled from the teachers training and, therefore, recovers EJA historical trajectory and Professional and Technological Education (EPT), as educational modes linked to the formation of poor workers and teacher training to work with EJA and EPT. The article reiterates as educational challenge for the professionalization of student's workers, among others, the teachers training that work in EJA and EPT.
