The article aims to analyze the possible contributions of the methodology of problematization, with the use of the Arch of Maguerez, in Law classes. For this, the characteristics of traditional legal education, based on expository methodologies, rooted in rigid pedagogical roots, are identified. We highlight the use of active methodologies, specifically the Arch of Maguerez, as a skillful tool for problem-solving, study and search for alternatives in the legal teaching process. The deductive method is used, using the bibliographical and documentary technique, through the study of the doctrine in scientific articles, as well as analyzing the legislation related to legal education, also counting on a quantitative research, by descriptors, in the Portal of Periodicals of Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior. It is concluded that the active methodologies are adequate to the objectives of the science of Law, and can effectively contribute to the formation, which is why their possibilities of adoption deserve to be brought to reflection and discussion. The arch presents characteristics that are adaptable to the discussion of real legal problems, promoting the participation of the student, in an adequate and qualified role to the challenges of education in the teaching of Law.
