Resumen

THIESEN, Juares da Silva  y  DURLI, Zenilde. Curriculum for early childhood education: Indications of internationalization. Educação. Porto Alegre [online]. 2022, vol.45, n.1, e-37021.  Epub 17-Jul-2023. ISSN 1981-2582.  https://doi.org/10.15448/1981-2582.2022.1.37021.

This text questions the indications of global education policies, promoted by international agencies, to formalize national curricula for increasingly younger children. The analyses consider if the curriculum reforms underway in the country are more inclined to adopt a neoliberal rationality focused on changes in the economic field and the global market or on the social and cultural specificities of first childhood. The article is based on an exploratory study involving research of documents collected in various domestic and international digital environments and archives. The analytical treatment consider the permeability of the curriculum policies of the Brazilian educational system to the global movement for internationalization of curriculum with a strong inclination to precocious schooling in early childhood education.

Palabras clave : curriculum policies; curriculum; early childhood education; internationalization.
