Abstract

This article intends to analyze social impacts that some technological resources apply over the contemporary context, taking as an example the Facebook Dating, a new tool of the digital social media Facebook, promoted to encourage relationships between users who have affinities, according to their data left behind in the platform. In a context of ubiquitous technology, which permeates the day by day of interconnected people with access of a smart mobile dispositive, there are some valid points to be discussed, such as: the participation of the users in the web, the conditioning of their personal images to be part of this social media, the geolocation monitoring demanded by the app, the hyper exposure and the obscenity of their images, putting in evidence a transparent society and, mainly putted in attention, the problem of data exposure considering that the platform holds a huge data center.
