This article aims to understand the relationships between the ongoing continuous training process and the performance of the Pedagogical Coordination that works in pre-school and its articulation with the work carried out in the institution. This is a qualitative research that used semi-structured interviews for the production and content analysis for data interpretation and had the collaboration of five Pedagogical Coordinators who work in municipal Early Childhood Education Centers in the city of Ji-Paraná-RO. The results show that continued training contributes significantly to the professional development of coordinators who work in Early Childhood Education, as it allows the articulation of theoretical knowledge with knowledge from experience; As a result, they learn a lot about their role in the work context, that is, at school, but not only there, considering that there is a need for other investments in academic education. They also show that the training processes of the pedagogical coordinator in Early Childhood Education in the municipality of Ji-Paraná, reveal a trajectory that is under construction, but that needs public policies that can guarantee his permanence in the stage, as well as his appreciation and recognition as a professional who contributes to ensuring the quality of education for young children. It is concluded that pedagogical coordination needs to be aware of its duties so that it can handle the demands that arise in everyday life, without losing focus on practice, as a mediator and articulator of training processes.
