Abstract

This article aims to critically examine the findings of the research titled "Mothers with Children: Interpretations of ChatGPT," which analyzed the interpretations provided by ChatGPT of images collected from Google using the descriptor "mother with child." Foucault's concept of discourse was employed as an analytical tool to interpret the obtained results. The findings reveal that the chatbot reflects the structural racism embedded in Brazilian society and underscore the significance of scientific knowledge in understanding our roles as active subjects in a digitalized world.
