The discussion about interdisciplinarity is placed upon its own complexity by the questions that are produced in the act of working with both knowledge and people in the daily routine of academic life. I undertake, then, the challenge of asking, both generally and myself, about the place of the questions that involve the knowledge and the human action, which bring the discussion on interdisciplinarity. The theme of interdisciplinarity is abetting, polissemic and polemic, since it is impossible to build a theory of interdisciplinarity that can be a general, absolute, and solitary instance; rather, it is necessary to search, or to unveil, the personal theoretical path trailed by each researcher who has dared to adventure him or herself in approaching the issues of that theme. I base myself on such verification in order to treat interdisciplinarity as a view of the world in movement, not as panacea for all evil that reach the dissociation of knowledge. I try to reveal a part of my personal theoretical-practical path on the adventure of researching my own researcher professor-experience, by means of the principles that regulate the researcher professor activity, in an attempt to maintain a commitment with education as a political and social act; in an attempt to maintain a commitment with the act of knowing as a relational act of human beings with the world, which is a historical act in the concrete production of reality within the limits of my own practical experience. The theoretical foundation is based upon the works of Ivani Fazenda and Paulo Freire.
