This study focuses on change and changes in the views of actors, in the context of the millennium, especially when observing what happens to them in a paradigm change. Consequently, it aims to provoke a reflection on the phenomenon of paradigmatic change and its repercussions for change in the perception of reality, including the social field. The outcome of an analysis of the concept of paradigm both from scientific (Khun, 1970), Capra (1996), Giddens & Turner (1999) and Goswani, (2001) and socio-cultural viewpoints (Capra, 1982, 1996) and Morin (1999) is a description of the scientific and socio-cultural relations established in western paradigms consigned to the rational category and their implications for society and education.
