This text will focus on two experiences of group work: the License Program developed at UFPR and the Licentiate Forum at PUCPR. The contribution of the program and the forum for the proposals of licentiate courses in the institution field, as well as the definitions about the development accomplished in this courses, will be analyzed based on Santos (2005) systematization which establishes a didactic expression with different knowledge levels, that is, from descriptive level to an understanding one, and also goes through the explicative level. We start from basic conjectures these problems bring to licentiate courses, and especially the disarticulation between theory and practice on teachers’ development, telling the knowledge concept with emphasis in the solid theoretical development based in a consequent practice. We finish this text with explicative signals about the involvement among License Program and the individualization process of initial development which are present in current tendencies and also the limits of Forums facing all disarticulation inside these courses.
