This essay presents reflections about violence in schools, its conflicts and feelings. The information for text was collected along the development of the second step of the research project called “The conflicts and feelings in the pedagogical relation and its interlacing in the development of moral personality”. In this second step, the research had the objectives of identifying which feelings came over in the situations of conflict that are in the pedagogical relation and which are the significations that were built by children involved in such situations, getting to comprehend how these elements act in the building of unattended moral personality (PUIG, 1998). For this, the central focus of this investigation aimed to a case study of a group of elementary school students of a city public school of Santa Maria - RS, composed of twenty-six students between nine and fourteen years old and their regent teacher. In a period of three months we performed observations and activities in which the children had to express their feelings towards conflicts situations. The observations performed were characterized as formal (WITTROCK, 1989) through an open system (WITTROCK, 1989) and registered in a daily camp schedule. The activities chosen were: group dynamics and group interviews, and the motivating factors were pictures referring to the school environment. The results aimed to the idea that the grouping concept based coexistence (CORTELLA; DE LA TAILLE, 2005) promoters the construction of significations that legitimize the violence in the interpersonal relations in the school.
