In this paper, I present some aspects about the discussions on the training of Philosophy teachers and the challenges of teaching this course for high school students. These issues have been occupying the curriculum scenario and the agenda for teachers and researchers in recent decades, especially about its necessity. In this paper, I take some readings that I consider important for this discussion, since they refer to relations between the content taught in the discipline, learning and its methodological challenges. Thus, other important aspects in the context of didactic transposition require rethinking its contents, the training facilities and field construction of knowledge. Finally, specific aspects of the philosophical debate between teaching philosophy or teaching Philosophy are necessarily central to the discussion that I have chosen for this text.
