Abstract

AKSENEN, Elisângela Zarpelon  and  MIGUEL, Maria Elisabeth Blanck. The rural education in the context of the Brazilian legislation: 1927 to 1971. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2015, vol.15, n.46, pp.703-722. ISSN 1981-416X.  https://doi.org/10.7213/dialogo.educ.15.046.DS05.

The study here presented has the purpose to point and analyze the elements that refer to education on the Brazilian rural environment that are contemplated on the education legislation on the period between 1927 and 1971. In order to do so, here we discuss the different aspects that are present in the Brazilian constitutions of 1934, 1937, 1946 and 1967, in the Organic Laws of primary, regular and agricultural education and in the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education (Leis de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação): laws 4.024/1961 and 5.692/1971.Also, we analyze social and economic issues presents on the period under review, sharing the idea of Saviani (1987) when this author claims that it cannot explain educational events out of its historical context. Therefore, beyond coming up whit theoretical aspects, we point out important discussions established in the I National Conference on Education (I Conferência Nacional de Educação) held in Curitiba, PR, in the year of 1927.
