Since of the change from the traditional model to the model of teaching by competency in Senac professional education, it was observed the need to align teaching activities with the guidelines established by this new model, which also requires new skills of these professionals. The present research had as objective to identify the competences perceived by Senac PR teachers for the education in the professional education necessary to the adaptation of their activities to the objectives of the Pedagogical Model Senac (MPS), based on the teaching by competences. To achieve this goal, all the teachers of the course with the largest number of completed and ongoing classes - the Technical Nursing course - were interviewed using the following documents: Senac Pedagogical Model (MPS), the Nursing and the interview script. The obtained results establish a relation of competences, identified in the interviews, in the information that represented or had some relation with the description of competence, that were grouped by similarity and described, what allowed to elaborate a base of competences necessary to the teachers of the professional education, Pedagogical model adopted by the institution since 2015.
