The present paper aims to discuss about the teaching at the modality of distance education course to form teachers and its implications to the basic education, assuming that the teachers are loaded with knowledge and experience which reflect the pedagogic practice at the educational institutions. To achieve that, it was investigated researches about this issue already existed, by a research state of the art type at the thesis and dissertation Capes portal analyzing themes, abstracts and keywords. This survey, conducted from May through June of the year of 2015, revealed that the researches focus the teaching at the distance education courses in terms of profile, feature and the tutor figure that is explore as well. Also, a research of articles that discuss the teaching at the distance education course context and the possible relation/implication with the basic education at Capes periodic portal was done and the selected articles were entirely analyzed. It can be inferred that the teaching at distance education to form teachers requires a continuous and specific formation, as in other levels and types of education, with the premise that the quality of the education, whether in academic education, can be guaranteed as the teachers are placed in educational processes.
