Abstract

MANTOVANI, Ana Margô  and  SANTOS, Bettina Steren dos. Ubiquitous learning and communication: reconfiguration of pedagogical practices in cyber culture. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2017, vol.17, n.55, pp.1619-1638.  Epub Feb 11, 2020. ISSN 1981-416X.  https://doi.org/10.7213/1981-416x.17.055.ao01.

This article presents a research carried out with the objective of investigating how professors reconfigure their teaching practices through ubiquitous learning and communication. We seek a theoretical framework that includes the “Biology of Knowledge” and the multi-referential approach, as well the contemporary theoreticians who study the cyber culture. It is part of the case study, consisting of a group of professors of a Higher Education Institution of the Private Network. The Discursive Textual Analysis is the method of interpretation of the narratives. We found that the faculty members: incorporate, in their teaching practices, the communicational logic of cyber culture, through ubiquitous communication and dialogical relations established, propose problematizing learning situations, configuring a hybrid and ubiquitous living space where and promote integration strategies of ubiquitous learning in formal education. We conclude that the potential of ubiquity provides new communication ambiences that allow the reconfiguration of pedagogical practices. For this, it is necessary to establish a multi (directional/dimensional) communication dynamics, based on interactivity, in the processes of teaching and learning.
