This article aims to make a few observations about the origin of philosophy and its indissoluble link with education. Philosophy while a question about truth is understood in a historical context. The philosophy born of empirical experience and articulated with astronomy, physics, and mathematics. Philosophy as an activity of thought that is also constructed as education: the way of life and teaching of critical thinking. Notes about the thought ‘construction until the political and social crisis that led Greece to lose its hegemony to other peoples.
