Abstract

GARBIN, Mônica Cristina  and  OLIVEIRA, Édison Trombeta de. Teaching practices in E-learning: a look at the areas of knowledge. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2019, vol.19, n.60, pp.36-55.  Epub Feb 04, 2020. ISSN 1981-416X.  https://doi.org/10.7213/1981-416x.19.060.ds02.

This article aims to analyze the teaching practices of the courses offered at the Virtual University of the State of São Paulo during the first half of 2018. The model in question has five axes for the development of academic work: Expansion of access to Higher Education; Focus on the student; Interaction; Digital inclusion; and Training for professional practice. Thus, the courses offered in this semester were analyzed regarding the types of materials and resources used, taking into consideration the following aspects: Interaction, Practical situations and Innovative methodologies. Most of the disciplines do not use the possibilities of interaction provided by the digital tools, as well as the new methodologies for teaching and learning. It is hoped that a new definition of the Discipline Offering Model, with the participation of the entire academic community, will generate models for the supply of disciplines related to the pedagogical model adopted by the institution.

Keywords : Education; Distance education; Digital inclusion; Innovative methodologies; Student leadership.
