Abstract

RODRIGUEZ, Milagros Elena. Re-linking university teaching: theoretical-practical-transmethodological decolonial challenges. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.68, pp.8-26.  Epub May 11, 2021. ISSN 1981-416X.  https://doi.org/10.7213/1981-416x.21.068.ds01.

In the colonial crisis of university teaching, today the complex objective is fulfilled: re-linking university teaching as theoretical-practical-transmethodological decolonial challenges. This inquiry is carried out from rhizomatic deconstruction as a transmethod in transmodernity. In the final rhizomes, decolonial pedagogies are used to erect some of the essences of the university that is needed, since the unveiling of the colonial crisis requires complex and transdisciplinary solutions. Universities must disassociate themselves from traditional modernist, as well as from elusive curricula and colonial intentionality. It is about re-constructing and re-linking an imaginary, an identity from another civilizational horizon, from the freedom of thought. For this, transcomplexity promotes complex and transdisciplinary knowledge in teaching research that entails a challenge in the training of teachers of high investigative value of their own practice, critical of their doing and in perfect communion with the needs of students and the land-motherland.
