Technological, economic, and political changes in the world of life undeniably influence the educational sphere, thus reflecting on the processes and ways of teaching and learning. Still, it is emphasized that in the case of pedagogical practices, it is hoped that at each level and modality of teaching, this should be planned and carried out based on its nature, its particularities, and its complexity. In this scope, the present study aims to get to know the concepts and concepts about the pedagogical practice, in the light of the legal and conceptual bases of the Integrated Curriculum, to present innovative pedagogical practices applied in professional and technological education (EPT). It is methodologically guided by a bibliographic review, with exploratory objectives and is divided into 02 (two) parts: a) it addresses the concepts of pedagogical practice associating with innovation; b) discusses innovative pedagogical practices in EPT, based on an experience report. It was emphasized that the pedagogical practices in EPT are a condition to better meet the human demands of creativity and teacher self-determination, taking into account the cultural requirements of our time; that innovation does not imply pyrotechnics, but an everyday choice to conduct living practices. Educators must adopt teaching strategies that, in addition to being innovative, corroborate new perspectives on the students' social reality. The problematized reality about the innovative pedagogical practices in EPT favors and disseminates new directions for an emancipatory education.
