Abstract

ALVES, Francisco Regis Vieira. Didactic Transposition (DT) and the Professional Transposition (PT): a discussion on the notion of professional competence of the mathematics teacher. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.69, pp.901-921.  Epub June 11, 2021. ISSN 1981-416X.  https://doi.org/10.7213/1981-416x.21.069.ao05.

This work presents and describes the notion of professional transposition, resulting from a theoretical framework in didactics of mathematics and professional didactics, according to French tradition and research, aiming to understand the process of acquiring the professional skills of the mathematics teacher. Thus, through a context that can not only be explained by the classic disciplinary epistemic terrain, as, for example, in the case of the classic notion of didactic transposition, there is a need to understand the acquisition of pragmatic knowledge essentially developed through exercise solving specific tasks and overcoming professional barriers. Thus, both the notion of didactic transposition and the notion of professional transposition can assist in the systematic investigation of the role of the mathematics teacher in the field of mathematical education in Brazil.
