BELLIATO, Moacir da Costa  and  CASTANHA, André Paulo. The Institute Nossa Senhora da Glória and schooling in Francisco Beltrão-PR and region (1952-1982). Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2022, vol.22, n.73, pp.700-728.  Epub Dec 17, 2022. ISSN 1981-416X.  https://doi.org/10.7213/1981-416x.22.073.ds09.

This article aims to understand the role of the Nossa Senhora da Glória Institute in the schooling process in Francisco Beltrão and the region, in the period from 1952 to 1982. In these thirty years, the Institute went through a series of experiences that involved the participation community, public authorities, and public authorities. In order to do so, we used bibliographic, documentary, and oral sources and carried out a dialectical analysis, considering the context of the data and the crossing of the analyzed sources. The School Sisters were involved in the schooling process of children and young people in Francisco Beltrão and region. Work began in improvised rooms rented or borrowed. With the support of families, community leaders, Municipal, State, Federal authorities, and with resources from Germany, they built schools in the city and in the region, which contributed significantly to the advancement of education in the period, since the State did not manage to meet the educational demand, due to lack of resources and negligence of managers. We evidenced that the Nossa Senhora da Glória Institute was constituted in a pole that made possible the creation of several public schools in the period.
